John Bormes, M.D.

Dr. John Bormes, M.D., is a dedicated surgeon specializing in cataract and lid surgery. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is an esteemed member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the South Dakota State Medical Association, and the South Dakota Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Bormes obtained his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, followed by residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 1994, he returned to his hometown community of Aberdeen to join Ophthalmology Associates, where he continues to provide exceptional care.
