Tyler Heuer, O.D.
Dr. Tyler Heuer, O.D., is a residency-trained optometrist originally from Watertown, South Dakota. He attended Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating with distinction in 2012. Following this, he completed an ocular disease residency at the Spokane VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA, in 2013.
After completing his residency, Dr. Heuer and his wife relocated to Marshall, MN, where he practiced in an ophthalmology setting for 7 years before returning to South Dakota to be closer to family. In 2020, he joined Ophthalmology Associates, working closely with ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care to patients in Aberdeen and the surrounding area.
His professional interests span the management of various eye diseases, including cornea, cataract, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, and post-operative care for eye surgery. Dr. Heuer is an active member of the South Dakota Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association.
